Here at Cracknell's Farm our policies and ethics have remained unchanged from when the farm started out in the middle of the last century.
Tony's aim was to make an honest living in a sustainable, animal-friendly way. To source things as locally as possible; use local labour, and to sell a good product at a price which is fair to both the producer and the customer - this is still the same for our business today. We have never wanted to build an empire, but have aspired instead to earn a reasonable living in an honourable way.
We are pleased to be able to supply local butchers with a product we are proud to put our name to.
As one Bible verse puts it: 1 Thessalonians 4:11, "And do everything you can to live a quiet life. You should mind your own business. And work with your hands..."
